| I have drinks that call for a 'sweet and sour' mix, and the book claims I can buy it premade. However, it doesn't go into detail about what it actually is or how to make it. |

It's just really a additive to make the drink taste better. Of course with the proper amount. If you head over to http://www.drinknation.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=275 that'll show you exactly how to make it. Well that's a way I found online anyways. I personally haven't tested it out yet.
There are some very common drinks that require sweet and sour. For instance a Long Island Ice Tea, Amaretto sour and the infamous Midori sour . Hope that helps |

| I have tried making my own sweet and sour mix and have found that it is easier just to buy it pre-made. It's fairly inexpensive and you can spend the time you were going to use making the mix making delicious drinks straight from this site. |
