Alcohol Specific Density
1 ounce Southern Comfort 0.97
1 ounce Cointreau 1.04
1 ounce Sloe Gin 1.04
1 ounce Brandy 1.04
1 ounce Apricot Brandy 1.06
1 ounce Blackberry Brandy 1.06
1/2 ounce Triple Sec 1.09
1 ounce Amaretto 1.10
1 ounce Blue Curacao 1.11
1 ounce Galliano 1.12
1 ounce Creme de Menthe Green 1.12
1 ounce Creme de Banana 1.14
1 ounce Creme de Cacao White 1.14
1 ounce Kahlua 1.15
---Specific Density Unknown---
1 ounce Light Rum
1 ounce Dark Rum
1/2 ounce Grenadine
1 ounce Vodka
1 ounce Irish Whiskey, Turlamore Dew
1 ounce Grand Marnier
2 ounces orange juice
2 ounces sour mix, bottled
1 splash Rose's Lime Juice
1 dash 151-proof Rum
1 lemon slice
cracked ice
Ice Cubes
Use various size glasses, depending on how many alcohols you choose.
The trick is to layer the different alcohols so that it looks like a rainbow. Pour the heaviest first and work your way toward lightest.
Make your choice of alcohol carefully.
Fill a glass with cracked ice. Pour over a turned over spoon carefully.
OR
Fill a glass with cracked ice. Add alcohol, orange juice, and sour mix. Shake well and strain into a glass filled with ice cubes. Top with a dash of 151-proof rum and garnish with a lemon slice.
NOTES : I had a 15 layer Zombie Master in Mexico while I was in El Paso in '75. I've never been able to find the recipe which layered the drink correctly. When done correctly, it looks like a rainbow. |

That is one insane recipe. I'm going to have to try it here one of these days once I get all the ingredients together. We'll have to figure out those density ratings too if I'm going to layer it properly... |
