Hey there, I am located in Florida and looking for information on any liquor/bartending conventions in Tampa or Orlando, maybe even Miami--basically something for a once retired, newly resurected bartender to get refamiliarized with all the new and up and coming stuff out there (trends, news, methods, etc).
Anyone have any ideas where I could go to get more information on these kind of events? Do they exist? Maybe something like a beer/liquor convention for restaurant owners and managers? Any Web sites I should check out?

Florida Restaurant Show
October 22-24, 2004
Orange County Convention Center, Orlando FL
The premier restaurant, foodservice, and hospitality show in the Southeast, that boasts 600 exhibiting companies and over 15,000 industry professionals in attendance.

Maybe that will give you a lead but there's this site as well. Don't know if it's legit or not, check it out.
