Hiya all I'm out to test your drinking knowledge yet again. Rolling Eyes I was at a party not too long ago where someone was served a bloody brain. Now I was quite shocked at how fitting the name actually is to this drink...because that is pretty much what it looks like. One of my friends drank it no problem but he started feeling a bit sick afterwards...now this could have been the pschological aspect of drinking something that looks like that who knows? But I'm kind of looking to have some at a party I might be having..it's a fun drink to make ppl take hehe. I might even try it myself...but I wondered...is this one of those drinks that I should prepare myself for how gross it's going to taste? Wink

I need to restock my mini bar(that's what i call my cabinet full of stuff!) So I'll pull myself into buying bailey's(although i might have to be a bit tipsy before actually wanting to buy it). But ah well can't knock it till you try it right? Im looking forward to testing one of the new submited recipies... "fruity booty #2". We'll see if that ones a smash!

The fruity booty 2 sounds really good to me as well. Let me know if it's a pretty tasty drink and I will have to pick some up sometime.

To make this drink you need a an equal amount of Kahlua and Peach Schnapps. Then, you pour Bailey's slowly into the shot glass so that a brain forms...if you pour too fast it will look like curdled milk (OH WAIT-that's what it is!--ha). If you use unequal amounts of Kahlua and Peach Schnapps then the "brain" will not float correctly. Then, just drop a dash of cherry syrup or grenadine so that the brain becomes "bloody"...if you really drop the dash from a good height then your "customers" can actually watch you as you hemmorage the brain with "blood". Its a good SHOT, I think, but ya gotta drink it RIGHT AWAY, before the brain turns into MUSH.

Huh, somehow I missed this thread. I thought I'd throw in that we did a Drink of the Week last Halloween called a "Brain Tumor". They're all pretty much the same drink, just variations in the name. Anyway, you can see a picture of it along with the recipe here.

I thought it was quite tasty myself. You just have to get over the texture Grin
great libations

Yeah, it's not an everyday shot. But for a halloween party, oh man, these things are a hit. Ghost

Oh yeah

I tried this one a few months back.
I loved it, but the wife took a tentative taste and refused to finish it. Can't understand that since she loves Baileys and Peach Schnapps.

Cheers

Hey Azra - you should be able to find peach schnapps in any liquor store. DeKuypers Peachtree and Dr. McGillicuddys are two common brands, you can usually find others as well.
