What are some flaming tricks do u guys know about or have seen by other bartenders?
Russian Roulette recipe:
Pour sambuca seperately into a wine glass and ignite.
I seen a bartender pour sambuca that was ignited onto shots then added cinnamon it sparkled and squirted oranges to sparkle the ignited shots up a bite too
caramelized:
I have seen a bartender take a orange and squeezed it into the lighter flame and it carmelized the rim and inside of the martini glass what is this called?
What martini drinks use this carmelized trick please? |

Lighting a drink on fire really can improve the taste.
When lighting the liqour what does it do or change? its changes the density? and flavor but why?
It does something to the vapors?
1.) you can make almost any drink flame if you first heat the liquor in a spoon. If you hold the spoon steady, the vaporized alcohol should collect above the spoon, allowing you to light the alcohol fumes. Then, you can carefully pour the flaming alcohol over the prepared recipe.
flamed TOPPED with:
1.) Top with citrus vodka, and ignite.
2.) Light the shot, drop shot glass into
3.) Layer in a shot glass and ignite
4.) splash Whiskey (Yukon Jack)
5.) Whiskey (Wild Turkey)
6.) float 151 rum |

| are you quoting from a book? it almost seems like you really want to be the best bartender you can be as quickly as possible. the best thing to do is to take it slow. time is learning. it is all trial and error. meeting other people that teach you different tricks. relax and have fun. thats what its all about. the most important skill you can aquire is fluidity and style. you cant learn that from a book. also, chat. a good bartender has to have good chat, the rest is all like a big portfolio, you keep adding to it as you go along. you cant make it before you start. passion! |
