Martha Stewart made an appearance on Conan O'Brien's (US) nighttime talk show in April, and I believe the show was re-broadcast last night. During her visit, she made a cocktail that she called "Ruin Me Russian". Extensive internet research has turned up one recipe and someone else disagreeing with that recipe. Does anybody know what goes in it?

One person says:
Quote:
1oz. vodka
1oz. raspberry liqueur
2/3 (no unit) Sweet & Sour mix
Coca Cola (no quantity specified... a splash?)

This doesn't indicate the size of glass, so if the Sweet & Sour is a proportion and not an exact measure, I will need to know glass size.

Another person commented on that recipe saying that the drink should only contain fresh crushed raspberries, raspberry liqueur, and vodka. Also, on another forum, someone else saw the same show and agreed that Ms. Stewart only used fresh raspberries, raspberry liqueur, and vodka. Neither of them were able to provide proportions.

Any help would be appreciated.

I posted this same question to Yahoo!Answers and got a response. For anybody who also wants to know, this is what "Dan K" at Yahoo! Answers said:

Ruin Me Russians are made by crushing fresh raspberries, (6 ozs or so. adding approximately 2 jigger of raspberry liquor and 10 jiggers of vodka. chill, strain and serve.

His source was the same Conan O'Brien episode, and the recipe sounds right. So this is it. Enjoy!
