I love the frozen drink called Wallaby Darned they serve at Outback restaurants and I have tried to duplicate the recipie at my bar with little luck. I have come pretty close, but its still not quite the same. Does anyone have a clue exactly how to make it? I would really appreciate it. Thanks!!

Hi Dev,

Try this recipe:-

Outback Steakhouse Wallaby Darned

2 oz Champagne
1 oz Peach Schnapps
1 oz Vodka
1 cup frozen sliced peaches
4 oz Peach Nectar
.25 cup Ice

Combine all ingredients in a blender.
Blend on high speed for approx.
30 seconds or until ice is completely crushed and the drink is smooth.
Serve immediately in Collins Glass with a straw

Wow! It definitely pays to visit the forum regularly. The Wallaby Darned is one I've been trying to duplicate also.
But I never thought to ask for it.

hey looking at your recipe its a bit different to the one we have in australian outback steakhouses. try this one and see if you like it:

1.2 oz darn mix (1 full darn mix = 20oz peach royale & 1/2 tin of canned peaches)

2. 1/2 glass of ice (tip into blender)

3. 1 shot smirnoff vodka

4. 1 & 1/2 shot of brut reserve champagne

5. blend until completely crushed and blended together

6. pour into glass

7. float 1/2 shot peach schnapps on top
