| To muddle is usually muddling a sugar cube in some alcohol with a mini mallat type thing crush the sugar cube. |

| Yeah, muddling is sort of like crushing. Think of a mortar and pestle. If you started working a bunch of mint leaves around in the mortar, you'd be releasing the fragrance and essence of the leaves. |
