Post subject: Suggestion for "Your Bar" |

| I really love the fact that I can put in my ingredients and then the system will tell me all the drinks I can make from them. One thing I'd really like to see though is a way to get that entire list of drinks on a page for printing so that I could printout the list of drinks that can be made and put it at the bar. Right now having to click on each drink when I've got the ingredients for over 150 drinks doesn't work too well! |

Hey, that's a pretty nice feature. Not to undermine what this site is doing, I thought I'd tell you about a project (open source) that does exactly what you're talking about. A friend of mine and I designed the software, and it's on sourceforge in beta. Go to http://phpwetbar.sourceforge.net to see a demo of it. To see a list of ingredients you can make from your bar in a print preview, do the following:
log in using "test" password "test" and add some ingredients to "my bar" after which you can click on "search using my bar" and "check all" and "print preview." |

Looks good. Do you plan on having it come with an assortment of drinks already loaded up or will the user just have to add them all? Also can you "dump" the drink database and import it into another phpWetBar?
I'll probably give it a try since I'm already running a webserver and have php up and running. |

Just downloaded the software from two different sites but it appears to be corrupted.
When I try to gunzip it I get:
gunzip drinks-0.5.2.tar.gz
gunzip: drinks-0.5.2.tar.gz has more than one entry -- unchanged
If I just go for untarring it (and gunzipping at the same time):
tar -xvof drinks-0.5.2.tar.gz
tar: This does not look like a tar archive
tar: Skipping to next header
tar: Archive contains obsolescent base-64 headers
tar: Read 7527 bytes from drinks-0.5.2.tar.gz
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors
Here's the md5sum on it:
md5sum drinks-0.5.2.tar.gz
c4387701380b784036d524ada76a764f drinks-0.5.2.tar.gz |

| Are you using unix of some kind? I created it with winrar as a zip file and renamed, as I was not aware unix would not be able to open it. I will release the same file as a zip. Could you open that? |

| Yes, I'm running Linux. I just tried unzipping it and that works fine. If you can rename the file so it ends in .zip instead of .tar.gz then everything will be fine. I just originally tried gunzip and tar to open it, but gunzip is different then zip. |
