Hey everybody:
I am looking for any suggestions, ideas, drinks, techiques, etc. that you think should be included in a new current bartending school textbook that we're re-writing. We have new owners and can rewrite the textbook any way we wish...so any suggestions will be helpful and appreciated!
Thanks! |

definately put in Liquid Cocaine/Surfing on acid, easy to make and really enjoyable:
1/2 shot Jagermeister
1/2 shot Goldschlager
in a shot glass
as well as Pearly Gates
1/2 shot Jagermeister
1/2 shot of banana liquer
just some easy shots that are personal favourites |

Isn't Surfer on Acid the following:
1/2 oz Jagermeister® herbal liqueur
1/2 oz Malibu® coconut rum
1/2 oz pineapple juice
and Liquid Cocaine the following:
1/2 oz Bacardi® 151 rum
1/2 oz Goldschlager® cinnamon schnapps
1/2 oz Jagermeister® herbal liqueur
I know there are many variations to alot of drinks out there so maybe I could be wrong.
another crowd pleaser is Four Horsemen:
3/4 oz Jose Cuervo® Especial gold tequila
3/4 oz Jagermeister® herbal liqueur
3/4 oz Rumple Minze® peppermint liqueur
3/4 oz Bacardi® 151 rum |

I don't know if I'm behind the power curve here but only one of the schools I attended (and the only one of three that offered and industry certification) covered proper bartender etiquette and decorum. I know it depends allot on the type of environment you tend in but there are simple rules that should apply to all professional bartenders. If you already cover this then forgive me for being repetitive. If not I’d be happy to list some of what I think are more prevalent rules.
