Hey there,
Question for everyone. Any rules of thumb about what types of alcohol should be kept in the fridge/freezer and what types can be left at room temp? Thanks! |

| jagermeister is nicest when kept in the freezer and served in a frozen shot glass. also, vodks is traditionaly served chilled. i used to work in a vodka bar that used stemed shot glasses so your fingers wouldnt warn the liquid in the short time it took for your hand to touch the glass and be lifted to you lips. nothing else other than that comes to mind that is nicest chilled. dont bother chilling cheap vodka though, it is more of a conasour thing. |

I'll keep my Bombay Sapphire gin in the freezer too. I find cold gin and cold vodka make nice martinis. |

gin, seems obviouse, but not something i have tried yet. makes perfect sence and a great martini i'm sure, as, in tropical conditions in thailand, it is hard to get anything cold, let alone maintain it.
