Just wanted to share a funny story that happened to me about a year ago:
I was at this little martini bar in podunk Greeley, Colorado, and I asked for a Smith and Kerns. The waitress came back and said "I'm sorry, but we don't have any Smith." First thought: does this mean that they DO have KERNS? What the hell is Kerns????? Anyway, so of course I realized that they were just trying to cover up the fact that the bartender didn't have a clue what he was doing. Yeah. Stupidity takes away from tips. Don't get me wrong, I don't blame him for not knowing the recipe, however being so lazy and prideful as to not even ask what it was or look it up, in this case made him look like a giant idiot. Ha! I'm still amused. |

Ahhh, Blak n' tan (guinness n' beer). The worst creation in the world along with garlic infused vodka. Which I still refuse to try. |

Garlic-infused vodka?
I bet it's good to cook with... but holy crap, I couldn't imagine drinking it. |
