 Post subject: Leaving vodka in the freezer |

| Someone told me that drinking straight vodka thats been in the freezer for a long time is bad for you. Something about how the temperature being below freezing but still in liquid form... apparently bad for you gut... can anyone clear this myth up because vodka fresh out of the freezer is great... albeit possibly dangerous. Thanks! |

I believe that vodka tasting is only ever performed on "frozen" vodka. Vodka is supposed to be served from the freezer, allowing it to warm only slightly before tasting.
I can imagine that this could be bad for you over the long term, but I've never heard anything like that. I'm sure it's worse for your liver in the long run  |

I read a story about some genius who was was interested in the freezing point of vodka. I guess he wasn't happy about the way his jello shots were turning out. He happened to have some liquid nitrogen in his garage, and he went down and froze some vodka. Now, when you actually freeze alcoholic mixtures like vodka into a solid, the water and alcohol tend to separate out. This guy decided that he'd try to "take a shot" of solid vodka.
Says he never knew anything so cold could burn so much. 
Probably lucky he still has an esophagus. |

| i can't imagine its really that bad for you. If its just in the freezer it isnt going to be THAT cold. |

mostly anyhting that taste good is bad for you. i like skyy the best and it tast geat pure.
i have to go squash some ants  , they are invading my house. do ants have feelings?, cuse i think i just heard one call for help. am i going insane?

| na i'm still trying to sort out my own voices. one is telling me to run around the neighborhood yelling, Aliens are coming!!, the other is telling me to go bash some mail boxes... mmm... maby i shell consult the great coin gods and see if it will be heads or tails? |
