Long Island Ice Teas or Chocolate Martini (Applebee's)
Does anyone know how they make the Chocolate Martini at Applebee's? I see so many different recipes. |

It does taste a little too strong for me. Is that really your favorite? |

A classic extra dry martini…
Chill Martini glass with ice and club soda (The carbonation in club soda cleans the glass and aids in the chilling process).
Fill mixing glass with ice and pour 2 to 2 ˝ ounces Quintessential gin let chill.
Discard ice and extra club soda from martini glass.
Stir gin slowly and strain gin into the glass (in my opinion martini’s should never be shaken as this not only bruises the gin but breaks up the ice and smaller ice shards melt quickly, which leads to a watered down drink.
Take a small atomizer (Looks like a tiny bug spray bottle and can be bought in bar ware stores) filled with VYA Extra Dry Vermouth and give the martini a slight mist of Vermouth.
Garnish with two to three olives… enjoy. |

i'm going to have to say i love a good old fashion.
3 drops orange bitters
1 tsp demerera sugar
orange quarter squeezed, not dropped (make sure there are no pips)
stir with flat end of bar spoon until it becomes a paste
add 3 decent ice cubes
then 1 shot bourbon (woodford reserve is my preferance)
stir consecutivly 3 times clock wise, then 3 anti clock wise for about 1 min
add 3 more decent ice cubes
1 more shot bourbon
stir the same again
fill to top with cubed ice
garnish with an orange rind wiped round the rim, folded and slipped in the side
no straws thank you.

| I'm going with my current favourite, which we coincidentally just sent out in last week's drink of the week, the Red Lotus. They used to make it at a club in my town, but the location sucked and they shut it down a couple of years ago. I haven't seen it anywhere else since, but I love it. |

| Funny...my favorite drink is Red Lotus too. I checked out the recipe at drinknation, and it's the same recipe I use, except I make it with Lichido http://www.lichido.com, which is by far the best lychee liqueur out there. Cheers to Red Lotus. It rocks! |
