Post subject: Need suggestions on wine for frozen drinks |

| Need suggestions on wine (@least 10% alcohol level) for frozen drinks. know how to make with liqour but want something different. Cant find any recipes or suggestions. |

| I HEARD CARLO ROSSI BUT I DONT KNOW WHAT FLAVOR TO USE FOR WHICH DRINK. I'M MAKING THE FRZN. DRINKS WITH THE MIXES OF STRWBRY DAIQUIRI, MARGARITA, PINA COLADA. BUT DONT KNOW WHAT WINE WOULD GO IN EACH. PLEASE HELP |

If you're gonna mix wine with that stuff, then it really doesn't matter too much. Most wines are around 11% ABV. If you want something stronger then try using a Port, Grahm's Six Grape is a good one. Ports are on the sweet side, pretty heavy for those who don't usually drink reds (its thicker than other reds).
One thing you might want to try is a "Port Sangria" In a large punch bowl add 1 part port, 1 part OJ, 1 part 7up, pineapple juice to taste, and diced orange rind, and diced green apples, (for an optional extra kick and triple sec to taste). |
