[url]Dev,
To memorize all of the drinks that have can be made is virtually an impossible task unless you have a serious memory as no bartender knows all of the recipes that have been produced. But if you want to make a try, the recipe program that I use is this 25k one http://secure.reg.net/Product.asp?ID=4289&TemplateID=-1&AFID=471 , however, this forum’s one is pretty decent http://www.drinknation.com/

just learn the classic drinks, ei, martinis, tom collins, etc. most drinks derive from the classics. And it would do you a world of good to learn the characteristic of the basic ingredients, ei, vodka, rum, gin, tequila, brandy. then you'll be able to get an idea what will mix well together. |
