Ok, I was recently in New Orleans getting my drink on when I ran accross this really taste drink called the Hand Gernade. They wouldn't tell me what was in it though. After 4 or so I was done for the night. It was the best drink I have come accross yet. It was a clear drink, very sweet. Kind of taste like a sweeter version of sprite mixed with something else and some form of alcohol. Anyone one what is in it? Or something close to it?

Wait 'till you get a load of this one Blue. We had a couple of Hand Grenade recipes on the site at one point that a couple of different readers submitted. Last year, we got served with a Cease and Desist from some lawyers in Texas that represented the company that markets the Hand Grenade in New Orleans, and they demanded that we take the recipes down. Swear

Note that we have no idea if the recipes we had were the right ones, they just wanted everything relating to the name "Hand Grenade" taken off. They were afraid of having their "goodwill tarnished" that they had "cultivated for the cocktail". Oink

So that's why they wouldn't tell you what's in it. And if you knew, they'd probably sue you.

Oh that is not right, evil texans Cursing , I can say that because I am one of them. I don't suppose anyone remembers anything about it that could be dropped into an e-mail named something else not as hand gernade... Angel
