| I got a recipe for a dirnk I want to try but the amount of ecah ingredient is given in measures, can anyone tell me how many oz. are in a measure? |

| I have determined that a measure is a generic term denoting cocktail measurement in general.A Jigger is 1 1/2 oz.,of course,and a Pony is 1 oz.I did,however,find a book that used measures;but a "measure" seemed to be 1/2 0z. in one recipie,and 3/4 oz. in another.Most all of them were 3/4 oz.,so I must therefore conclude that a Measure is 3/4 oz.Please drink irresponibly. |
