I managed to get the new stuff up this morning. Of course, I was just getting ready to go to bed too. I thought, "I'm all done, I'll just upload the files and hit the sack".

4 freakin' hours later I'm still re-doing files I accidentally deleted when I did a "tar zxvf" instead of a "tar zcvf". Crying And friggin' people wonder why no one uses this linux crap. All I have to say is thank god for Internet Explorer's browser cache, otherwise it would have taken me three days to re-do everything.

Right. Not that anyone cares about all that boring crap. Gag What I really want to ask is what people think of the new look, and whether it's easier to use or not. Some changes to the recipe browser should make it a bit more intuitive, as well as the new and improved width of the site (no more 800x600! hoo-ray!) We're really going for the "easier to use" stuff, so gimme comments if you've got 'em. Odds are if you don't like the way it looks, you're going to have to bribe me to change it, because I'm going to bed and I'm going to stay there for... say... 3 days. I mean, I'm up at 5 AM on a friggin' Saturday, and I haven't even been drinking! Surprised

Ah crap, I just found a bunch of stuff that needs fixing. Um... everyone please ignore any ugly formatting problems they see until I'm out of my coma. Thanks Razz

Holy monkey ass that font is HUGE. Although I like how the recipes are now look like a cooking recipe thing. Uhm besides the text being huge I like it...

Yeah, the font thing is a hard issue. We're aiming at accessibility, which makes style a lot harder. Before, we just had fixed-width fonts. Now it's whatever your browser defaults to.

I always browser with IE set to "smaller" (View -> Text Size -> Smaller), and it looks a lot better that way in my opinion (most of the net). Mozilla is just plain ugly on 100% size, and 90% isn't much better.

I may try some adjustments. It's hard to get a good balance between style and accessibility.

Suggestion with the main page. It looks a little crowded. It might help to add some space above the tables (Drink of the week and Mixed drinks recipes) and add some space between the mixed drink table( driectly under bar gear) and the Top 10 Drink Recipes and Newest Drink Recipes. The space between top 10 and the ad and the mewest drink look good. Just an idea, it might just be my browser.

What browser are you using? Also, what's your screen resolution at? I'll check it out.
