Drink of the Week for Jul 26th, 2001: Watercolour

What we had to say

We here at Drinknation are a big fan of inspirational slogans. Not so much as we pay attention to them, we just repeat them over the PA system to elevate the spirits of the slav.. uh, employees. Stuff like "There's no 'I' in 'team'", "Innovation breeds success", and "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups".

So this week, when one of our hard-working photographers came to us and said he had a new tripod that would increase his picture quality, we congratulated him and crushed his spirits by informing him that since we needed a blurry, watercolour-esque picture for this week's drink, his services were no longer needed and he had to go back to the salt mines.

Despite it's appearance, the Watercolour is very, very tasty. A bunch of sweet liqueurs with pineapple juice makes it a little tropical, especially if you throw in a pineapple chunk or a cherry.

So until next week, "Beatings will continue until morale improves."
