Now that it's a new year, we here at Drinknation began to wonder just what the new year will hold in store for us. And the years after that. Pretty soon we were wondering what the far future would be like. Would there be peace on Earth? Bountiful energy supplies? Or would giant robot octopi enslave all humanity? We kind of think that it might go something like this:

Little Timmy: "Grampa Drinknation, what were the old days like?"
Us: "Well little Timmy, it was a time of great turmoil. There was pollution, political upheavals, and war."
LT: "What's war, Grampa?"
Us: "Well, it's when we used to kill each other over imaginary things called 'borders'. Then these dagnabbit octopi came along and saved us the trouble."
LT: "I hate octopi. They took my arms."
Us: "Yes little Timmy, we all hate octopi. Because they are different."

Wow, what a Hollywood ending! Clearly it's time for us to stop producing drinks and get into script writing. That right there has to be as good as Star Wars: Episode I. Maybe even Episode II. And neither one of those tasted anything like peppermint.
