Drink of the Week for Feb 20th, 2004: Dundas Valley Ghost

What we had to say

Due to the horrible fact that people's wants overtake their needs, capitalism will come up with anything, as long as someone feels they can make money off of it. For example, we really thought that our EZMonkeyClean system, a revolutionary automated monkey cleaner, was a great idea, and that everyone truly desired a clean monkey. We learned a lot from that, let us tell you. As great an idea as that was, have you heard about scented email? As if the typical internet user experience isn't bad enough, now a company in the UK wants to be able to send smells to a device that sits on your computer via the internet. So... not only will your email be unreadable due to the sheer volume of junk, but you'll have to wear a gasmask in order to check it, due to all the prank poop-smelling email. Oh, also you have to pay $279 for the smell device. Although the creative uses of getting back at your boss are almost limitless with this thing, we think that they should just give up now, because no one will shell out $279 for it. Especially when you could get four monkey cleaners for that price during our blow-out monkey cleaner sale.
