Drink of the Week for Jan 7th, 2005: White Almond Kiss

What we had to say

An icy storm of death has gripped Drinknation headquarters in it's bone-chilling clutches, severing all ties with civilization and leaving us to huddle in the dark with only a couple of hours of laptop power and a gun with one bullet for when the snow zombies come. We tried building a generator out of soda cans, paper clips, and old coffee grounds, but it turns out that MacGyver is much, much smarter than us. He probably wouldn't have seriously injured himself with coffee grounds. In any event, the thousand-foot-high impassable glacial cliffs of doom that have hermetically sealed us inside for lasting freshness also prove to be an excellent place to chill spirits. Nothing goes with impending frozen crushing apocalyptic destruction like a fine martini.

In the event that the power doesn't come back on, and the snow zombies get us before the wolverines do, then we'd just like to say that it's been a pleasure sending you drinks, and we are bequeathing all our mortal possessions to Jessica Simpson on the condition that it all be dropped on her from a height of several thousand feet. If the power does come back on, we're going sledding.
