Drink of the Week for Mar 12th, 2005: Chocolate Cake #3

What we had to say

Spring is coming. We can smell it. It smells like trees, and flowers, and construction. Oh, and that manure that they put everywhere on the municipal flower beds. Mmm, spring! Pretty soon all the RV's will be coming out of storage, and the roads will be filled with endless lines of them as they all wait for that one guy to finish digging that hole over on 7th ave. You'd think he'd work faster, considering he's got 12 other guys standing around watching him do it. Sometimes we wonder if it's like a fraternity initiation. The one guy digs the hole, while all the others stand around chanting "Dig! Dig! Dig!". If he hits a gas line and forces the evacuation of a city block, there's a crescendo of cheering and everyone takes an early lunch. It could also be that they actually have a map of buried pirate treasure, and the foreman is only willing to sacrifice one worker at a time to the pirate's curse. In either case, while we're stranded here in the RV line waiting for the backhoe guy to get his tuna on toast, we thought we'd send you a drink.

This week's beverage is a variation on one we sent out a couple years ago. We'd like to introduce you to the Chocolate Cake shot, revision number 3. Get your lemons out, you're gonna need 'em.
