Drink of the Week for Oct 21st, 2006: Swedish Fish

What we had to say

The process of translating candy into beverage form is usually a delicious one, and this week's drink is no exception. In case you don't remember the ubiquitous red little fishies, this shot might jog your memory. It's not as chewy, but it's just as tasty.

As we mentioned in our last communiqué, we've done our first product review of one of our sponsor's products, X Zéle absinthe. Get the lowdown at http://www.drinknation.com/product-reviews.php?op=view&reviewId=1. If you're new to absinthe in general, our bartending section has a brief history on our potent green friend: http://www.drinknation.com/bartending/absinthe-ritual.php

Now that all that is out of the way, we can get back to the important events of the day, like lunch. And nap time. Not that we're not hard at work over here at Drinknation HQ catching up on drink submissions. It's just that work needs to be approached carefully, like a rabid weasel all hopped up on goofballs. You certainly don't want to get near it if you don't have to.
