Drink of the Week for Apr 26th, 2001: Fruit Tingle

What we had to say

Under grueling conditions and long sleepless nights, our crack research team has done it again. Exposed to dangers that would make lesser guinea pigs tremble and mess their sawdust-filled cages, they bravely hauled themselves out of bed each morning (well, sometimes it would be the afternoon), and eventually came across a recipe so full of tasty goodness that it could only be described as Fruit Tingle.

This drink is very, very good. We liked it a lot. Our staff liked it a lot. Our monkeys liked it a lot. That grumpy old guy that lives just down the street from you even said "It's a mite better than a kick in the head, sonny, I'll give it that much. Now get off my lawn you damn kids!" Wise words like those don't come along every day, we'll have you know.

There are several variations on the version we've got here... you can try them too and see which is your favourite. Fruit Tingle #2 adds an ounce of Vodka to even out the sweetness of the lemonade, and Fruit Tingles are shots along the same fruit-taste vein, although the recipe is quite different.
