A cool announcement this week - Drinknation and Swankmartini.com are offering a contest to win some of Swankmartini.com's awesome glassware! The contest starts today (Friday, Oct. 24th) and runs until December 15th, when the winners will be announced. All you have to do is meet our secret contact in his van in the back alley, where he will accept the drop in exchange for the goods when you provide him with the secret password: "Nut walrus". Make sure you're not followed.

You can also enter the contest by going to http://www.drinknation.com/contest.php if the whole secret contact thing doesn't work for you. Entering the contest is free. If you don't want it to be free, you could send us a hundred dollars (or a thousand, if you want) and a self-addressed stamped box, and we'll buy you a set of Omega glasses and send them to you. That would be like winning a contest too! For us, I mean.

And another cool announcement! We've redesigned some of the layout of Drinknation.com to make some of the best features of the site more obvious and user-friendly, and we are also compiling a "Links Directory" as a reference section for drinking/cocktail/party/bartending links and information. So, come by and check out the new pages, enter the contest, and hang out in the forums, where we will undoubtedly make fun of stuff, and/or you.
