What we had to say

Here at the nation of drink, we believe in trying new things as often as possible. Unless it's pyronecrobovimania. If you don't know, just don't ask. But back to the learning thing; some of our editors decided to try surfing this weekend. Although being brutally punished by mother nature is not our normal inclination, luckily we know where to get our hands on lots of booze, so it wasn't as painful as it could have been. Also, there were no sharks or alligators, or flaming half-shark-alligators, which can be pretty scary even if you're not surfing. We could enumerate all manner of things that were *not* there, but suffice to say, there were waves, and surfboards, and lots of people in rubber suits getting munched by monster tubes. Afterwards, there was a celebratory opening of a fine bottle of Cabo Wabo. If you've never heard of that, then you have some learning ahead of you, but when you look it up, stay away from the "Py" section of the encyclopedia. That's the section we took surfing with us, and now all we can talk about is flaming things.

Anyhow, good times were had by all, and it was a great opportunity to try out our new Drinkipedia mobile-device application, which we mentioned in our last email.
