Drink of the Week for Oct 3rd, 2004: Bloody Arctic Marina

What we had to say

This week's drink is coming to you from the front seat of the Drinknation road-trip-mobile. We're fleeing to the mountains to take the heat off after one of our field agents was captured. Road trips are a great way to get to know people, and discover all their idiosyncracies that eventually lead you to never talk to them again. Right now, two of our associates are arguing over the correct graphical deviation in a parabola based on your mathematical forumla variables. Seriously. Still others are debating the merits of giant roadside gnomes, peddling their ice cream and mini-golf wares with extreme tackiness. (Clearly there are no merits.) You'd think these things would disappear overnight in a blaze of bankruptcy or gasoline, but you can't help but find them anywhere a highway exists. Oh, and we're not even going to tell you about the flossing argument.

So this weeks drink is an excellent choice for Thanksgiving, whether that is next week or next month for you. But if we hear of anyone giving thanks for giant gnomes with ill-proportioned body parts, we're going to be dropping our associates off at your house.
