Drink of the Week for Dec 21st, 2005: Yukon Cornelius

What we had to say

It's almost Christmas, so there's a good chance that there's some stop-motion reindeer action on the tube, featuring the Abominable Snow Monster and an elf named Hermey. If you know what we're talking about then you'll likely recognize the name of this drink as belonging to the greatest prospector of the North. If you don't know what we're talking about, you need to go out and find a copy of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, the animated television special. Once you've met Yukon Cornelius, you can enjoy this drink to it's full potential. The ingredient Yukon Jack is a honey and whiskey liqueur, and combined with Goldschläger, it would warm even Sam the Snowman. We can't promise that you'll find a peppermint mine after you've tried it, but Yukon Cornelius can bring out Christmas cheer with the best of them. Remember, we've got more seasonally festive beverages on our Christmas drinks page, so you can find other ways to use up that holiday stash as well.

From all of us here at Drinknation, we wish you a great Christmas and holiday season!
