Ingredients
- 1/2 fifth Rum, dark
- 1 qt. Cream (Half and Half)
- 1/4 tsp. Allspice
- 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. Nutmeg
- 1 lb. Sugar, brown
- 2 whole Eggs
- 1/4 Cup Vanilla Extract
- 1 pint Whipped cream
Mixing Instructions
Pour whipping cream into a large (punch) bowl. Whip until it starts to thicken. Add two large eggs. Whip until mixed. Add 1 quart of Half-and-Half, plus vanilla and rum. Mix well. Sprinkle cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg. Mix very lightly. Using a cup or dipper, pour into old-fashioned glasses and serve. Make sure rum, whipping cream and Half-and-Half are cold.
