To Devonshire. This is the proper recipe for the 007 martini. It is the best martini and the best blend. I use either grey goose or belvedere vodka and ten gin. Smooth mix

2 measures vodka one measure of gin and a half measure of dry vermouth...that is the recipe. the classic 2-1-0.5 formula. and its good. shake with ice serve over more ice garnish with olive or lemon peel. Then go save the world.

2oz of vodka + 2oz of gin ? that s quite a lot... a martini is only 2 1/2 oz... That would be a double 007 martini. So it?s better to use 1oz vodka, 1oz gin, 1/4 or 1/3 dry vermouth.

I like a 007 Martini made with Magellan blue gin and a shot of Stollie vodka, a spray of vermouth...shaken and served in chilled glass...add olive or twist...however you like....

I drink Martinis a lot and by far the best one I ever had in my opinion is the 007. I find it better then the peach Martini.
