How to Make It

Eggnog is good, but making it from scratch is a pain. Here's an easy recipe.

Throw a few ice cubes in the glass. Over them, pour the Irish Cream, Glayva, and spiced rum. Give the mixture a quick stir or two, then top with a pinch of nutmeg.

Notes:

(1) You can substitute Drambuie for Glayva (they're both Scotch-based liqueurs), or can try other sweet liqueurs like Irish Mist or Kahlua. As well, any liqueur similar to "Irish Cream" will do in its place.

(2) This recipe is moderately, not staggeringly, sweet. If you want it sweeter, try 2 ounces of Irish Cream and 1 1/2 ounces of Glayva instead.

(3) The drink is just as good without ice.
