How to Make It

  1. Add Crème de Cassis to a champagne flute.

Preparation notes

  • The Kir Royal is a variation of the regular Kir recipe, which uses white wine rather than Champagne.
  • Raspberries make a great garnish for the Kir Royale, and will float on the champagne.

Kir Royal is a very popular drink in France. Especialy in the South of France. It is one of my favorite drinks. It can be made more sweet or less sweet depending on your taste. It has a lovely color and is very festive. You can also make a regular Kie with dry white wine.
