Ingredients

  • 1/2 oz. Amaretto
  • 1/2 oz. Kahlua
  • 2 oz. Milk
  • 1 whole Cherries/Maraschinos
  • Garnish Whipped cream

How to Make It

Combine Amaretto, Kaluha and milk into a shaker with ice, strain into the snifter. Top with whipped cream and the cherry. Enjoy.

    There is a critical flourish missing from the silver cloud recipe and that is a drizzling of Kahlua around the outer edge of whipped cream that results in a cool drizzling effect from the "cloud".

    OMG I don't drink alcohol anymore, but when I did I LOVED Silver Clouds! Of course that might have been because the love of my life introduced me to them. Back then I was pretty impressionable, but whenever I think of Harry, I remember two things - Prince Rupert & sipping Silver Clouds with the sweetest man in the whole wide world. Well, like I said I was impressionable back then. Now I have my REAL True Love of My Life, and while it is not Harry, I can honestly say I have never had a Silver Cloud with any other man. Ahhh - sweet memories of youth (and a GREAT tasting cocktail).
