How to Make It

Combine all ingredients except carbonated water in a cocktail shaker with ice. Stir well. Strain into an ice-filled collins glass. Add club soda and stir.

    I have a variation on this that uses two parts gin, one part sloe gin, and one cheery brandy mixed with four parts lemon sour mix. It tastes like fruit punch, but don't drink too many of them. It will get you drunk in a hurry.

    how can you call that the original SL ?? there's more water that all alcohols together! and where's the grenadine? where's the pineapple juice and the lime juice? and the bitters? it's supposed to be served in a hurricane glass by the way... and there's no soda water in the original, go check at the raffles
