Drink of the Week for Apr 5th, 2001: Colorado Bulldog

What we had to say

It's been a couple of weeks since we were able to get a drink review up, mostly due to the technical "problems" we experienced a short while ago. Now, normally we're a pretty good bunch of people, but when our stuff gets wrecked on purpose (like our website here), let's just quote a certain A-team member and say "We pity da foo'".

For this week's drink, we can make the review quite short. This drink is excellent. We're a fan of anything Kahlua, and the simplicty of this mix just makes it that much more enjoyable. Add in the fact that there's a cool-ass bulldog in the picture, and we couldn't ask for much more. We told our chief editor to stop picking drinks of the week that had animals in the name, but he just made monkey noises at us and started to chase us around his office with his knuckles dragging on the ground. Fortunately this drink more than lives up to our standards, so we were able to forgive him. [New chief editor's note: We still fired him, because it turns out that he actually WAS a monkey. We're not sure how a monkey became chief editor, but he was certainly better groomed than most of the rest of the staff.]

The Colorado Bulldog is very smooth and very tasty. If you want to tone it down, just add more cola. If you want to add more kick, throw in another ounce of vodka or Kahlua. It tastes great both ways.
