Drink of the Week for Apr 9th, 2004: Spring Feeling Cocktail

What we had to say

So now that it's a state-sanctioned day off, there's nothing better that we like to do than to sit down and figure out how many bones we owe the man. That's right, it's tax time, and at Drinknation, we like to do a bit of creative accounting to liven up the poor auditing department.

The first thing we like to do is create a dozen subsidiary companies with names like "Enron2.0", "Enronian", or "Enronite". Then we funnel tax credits to them through business investments in luxury real estate in Greenland and Namibia through Dr. Olu Oboba, Director of Project Implementation, Nigerian Ministry of Mining & Natural Resources. He of course has 14.5 million dollars that he needs to transfer into our bank account of which we shall receive 30% for helping him. Once that is complete we add up all of our liabilities and accidentally put them down as assets, and then we tape pictures of Britney Spears to our filings. This distracts attention from all the illegal immigrant monkeys that we employ.

Whoa... that's the booze talking. We would never buy luxury real estate in Greenland.
