Drink of the Week for Jun 27th, 2004: Banana Nut

What we had to say

The massive upgrades to the foundations of the Drinknation empire have jarred the multiverse in a small but tangible way, leading to the temporal suspension of the entity known only as "Drink of the Week email", for the past three days. We could make up an excuse about raccoons, or physicists, or racoons employing advanced physical theories to create diabolical devices that would pseudomorph their racoon overlords into the highest positions in government, but everyone would see through that filthy lie, because we all know that racoons hate politicians. I think we covered that before. But the real reason is that we were so busy adding cool stuff to the site that we didn't notice that our stash was running low. When our physicists tried to create new drinks for us to try, they found that the operations department had not done inventory in a while and they gave up and went to see what kind of velocity a racoon could achieve when fired from a railgun. We don't blame them, there's only so many drinks you can make with lime juice and 3-week old cottage cheese. So, in conclusion, we're back on track and if you're lucky there'll be a bonus Drink of the Week this week.

Oh, and if you live in Kentucky, maybe keep an eye out for supersonic racoons.
