Drink of the Week for Mar 26th, 2005: Lynchburg Lemonade

What we had to say

If you've had as tough a week as we have, then you deserve this week's drink. We came to the realization that pretty quick here we're going to have to stop procrastinating and get to work on our taxes. That wouldn't be so bad, except we're WAY better at procrastinating than we are at taxes. Just look at that squirrel outside. He's pretty cute. Maybe we should go feed him, he looks kind of hungry. Aww, poor little guy. Hang on, what were we doing? Oh yeah, drinks. Anyway, our week got even tougher when we realized that we also blew all of our billions in profit on R&D to develop a method of sending real drinks over the internet along with your weekly emailed recipe. We came close, but the internet has shaky hands, and it kept spilling the mixers all over the motherboard during the dispensing phase. Also, after too much vodka synthesization, our computers started getting sluggish and unpredictable, and kept sending out emails to ex-girlfriends. Since we have no money left to pay taxes with, we're faced with the tough decision of either lying to the man, or attempting one last test of our Real-time e-Beverage Thirst Solution System on the tax department's computers. Fortunately, we really don't like lying, and we also really don't like the tax department's computers. So enjoy this week's drink, coming soon to and shorting out a taxman's PC near you.
