Drink of the Week for Apr 15th, 2005: Blue Razzberry Kamikaze

What we had to say

So, we had a serious issue with this week's drink, which is called a Blue Razzberry Kamikaze. Despite our predilection for wiffle-bat clubbing people who think that "alot" is a word, oddly enough we're going to distance ourselves from the "razzberry" argument. The problem here is a much wider, societally-pervasive mystery: just where do you get blue raspberries? Who invented this artifical scheme? Why would you invent a flavour, and then describe it using a colour? It doesn't make sense! It's madness! Raspberries aren't blue! Food isn't blue! There is no naturally blue food! Even blueberries, which you would think of as a close cousin to the raspberry and perhaps some sort of maniacally-twisted component partner of the so-called "blue raspberry" flavour, are technically purplish and not blue. Clearly, something is afoot. But the only clue we have is that it's delicious.

In conclusion, we have too much spare time. Also in conclusion, if you even THINK about writing us an email with the non-word "alot" in it, we'll have a wiffle-bat team tracking you down within the hour.
