Drink of the Week for Sep 19th, 2003: Caribbean Kiss
What we had to say
Winter is coming. Again. It's slowly (assuming you aren't in a hurricane) getting colder and miserabl...er... outside. Yeah. That's why this week's drink is designed to distract you from the blues, as well as us walking our dog on your front lawn. If this drink doesn't make you think of the Caribbean, well then you'd better just send us plane tickets so we can go there and find some drinks that do. It would be totally worth it, and we'll definitely come back. Honest. We'd use our own plane tickets, but the dog ate them, and we don't really want to have to dig around your lawn to find them.
Ha ha! We're just kidding. We don't even have a dog. He got tired of us always walking him in the same spot and took off to Tobago with a case of rum and this month's payroll. We figure we'll get a bear or a pony or something instead, but we might have to wait until you get a bigger lawn. In any event, make sure you sugar the rim of your glass with brown sugar for this recipe, it's a key element. If you need us, just look out the front wind... uh... email. Send us an email. Yes. Because that's where we'll be. Here. Not outside walking... anything. *cough* Um... here's the drink.
