Drink of the Week for Mar 4th, 2004: Charm City Classic

What we had to say

A sad week in the history of Drinknation, when our staff went on vacation and trusted their computers to do their jobs. The result was that our computers became sentient, and instead of sending out the Drink of the Week, they learned how to use our credit cards and went on a three day bender. This may or may not have anything to do with our current situation, as this week finds us mixing drinks in the dark, icy clutches of a power outage. Don't ask how we're using the internet to send you this without electricity, because we won't tell you. Also, it involves magic. Anyway, we're not sure what happened, but it got really windy here and then it sounded like a tree whale dropped onto the roof and knocked out the power lines. You know... tree whales. We're not really sure what they are, but it definitely sounded like one. And since we have no power, that pretty much proves it. So before we go out to clear off all the fallen whales, we thought it best to get Drink of the Week mixed up and tested. You know, in case we don't make it back.
